I here this and similar quotes over and over again, mainly from people NOT yet living here. The truth is Australia is SO "Britain in the sun" OK, its Britain from years back but everything about it is a poor quality facsimile of the mother country. The seaside towns all look like Bexhill on Sea, the food is like post war Britain, fashion - 80s Britain.
People should be aware that when they arrive here they will not be greeted with brown skinned natives wearing hoola skirts and flowers around their necks.
So NO more of this
