We know we need to sell, its just not as easy as that......our business is a pub which is also our home.......we were not planning to go to Aus for another 18months 2 years, do a reccie and then sell. If we sell now we will have no income coming in a nd most of our finances are due to be paid off in the next 2 years eg: cars, loans etc.
We are sitting on alot of equity and yes we could use that to pay off exisiting loans and rent till the visa arrives which could be another 6 months away.

Just a bit confusing as we had a plan of 18m to 2 years and now that could be all blown out of the water and become sooner than we thought.......just a little scary!!!!! but hey you never know whats round the corner! Once again thanks for the support guys.

now there is a dilema. not one i would want. what is the pub game like as a manager these days????

personally sell spring to mind immediately however your time frame is quite protracted. I can only empathise with your predicament. what can you do to earn a crust between now and your forecasted departure?

i have sold my house and tendered my resignation at work with no visa recieved however I do have a job to go to so hopefully it will only be a formality.

we sold the house just over a year ago, glad we did best decision we ever made, just got the visa this week after comming back off holiday, YES OK WE HAVE RENTED FOR A YEAR, but im so glad we can now just pack up and go than be like a lot of unfortunate people on here having got the visa then carnt sell and having to do a trip to valiadate their visa.We hope to be on Oz for END OF NOV .Get it SOLD, saves time later, prices are falling too so they say which means more in the POT FOR YOUR NEW LIFE.Good luck with which ever you choose to do , i know we made the right choice and have no regrets at all.
