Why are we so down on Earlswood? I for one would hate to see him go!

I find his posts funny not necessarily for the content but for who will bite! We all know he hates Perth its lifestyle the people etc but every time he writes this someone new bites! People who have a laugh with him he seems to leave alone.
I think he should be called PIO's FISHERMAN When ever he throws out a line someone bites

Aldo is another one I sometimes think his posts are very close to the line but he does have a funny side and I hate to say it I am warming to him (sorry Aldo)
However we seem to have a new breed of people on PIO that hold these 2 in high regard (nothing wrong in that) but try to mimic these 2 with shocking results they are rude abrupt nasty and most of all annoying and not funny! Please leave it to the masters you have a lot to learn. Become known on PIO before leaving your silly comments and maybe people might get your jokes or most importantly you might get the banter of what the wiser members of PIO are on about!!!

Study your masters and maybe you could be the next Earlswood rather than an annoying **** that no one likes!!!

I think Earlswood's computer has broken, he hasn't been around at all today (not like him)

It's more a go at these clingons than boosting Earlswoods ego. Lets face it Earlswood or Kingfisher as i like to call him has an Ego that dosen't need inflating if it was any bigger it would bust

I have to disagree with you on this issue Geoffrey.

I certainly don't see the point of them leaving the site as not long ago the majority voted saying the negative comments and views belonged here and people wanted to read them. Balanced view and all that. I agree here.

However, I have seen many an unnecessary post belittling and patronising people from them. On the other hand I have also seen many informative and constructive posts giving their views. If they could refrain from the former then they would definitely be the 'masters'. It would be wise for them to take a leaf out of the real masters of tactile arguing from the likes of Essex to Aus and Quoll. Nearly always negative on Australia but at the same time fair and just.

Anyway, just my views.

Well supported and rational postings postive and negative are welcome. Abusive, insulting and rudes ones aren't.
Unfortunately too often rather than backing up their claims with well thought out rebuttals they 'descend into the gutter' with name calling and abuse.

AGREE all views welcome

but these newer members seem to only leave negative, nasty comments. You can't say you have never laughed at some of there (earlswood & Aldo) posts or comments can you?

Only because they'd been so stupid!
If you're suggesting that Earlswood should hang around to the be the PIO jester then you may have a point, as long as he's not abusive.

Of course I have. I do think they are a crack up. I don't get offended easily and I suppose I have quite a 'close to the bone' sense of humor.

But I still don't see the need at times for some openly aggrevating posts that I read. It is clearly to bring up the same arguments that appear time and time again.
