Does anyone remember Digby the world's largest dog? I haven't met anyone who has!

Does anyone remember a game show that used to be on (say 20 years ago) that was set in space and celebs who had to get through certain tasks, like getting across a plank over a pool of water without using their feet? And a plant that used to whizz around and shake and make noises??
OH MY GOD i remember digby, loved it
i also remember the space show can't remember what it was called, Clint said the plant was called uncle.
