Anyone remember The Moonmins !!!

Grange Hill in the old days with Tucker,

Why Don't you ( in the school hols )

Dog Tanion and the Musket Hounds,

Reading all the threads brings back great memories , especially the sweets.

God , used to get a huge bag of pennie sweets for 10p. Those were the days !!!!

Anyone remember a mint bar that was like a honeycomb texture with chocolate covering , can't remember what it was called.

Have enjoyed going back in time !!

Hi Debs

It was called Mint Cracknell (for reasons only known to those who made it!)

I think the 80's were the best years for music with groups like Yazoo and soft cell. Some of the fashion was gud, although i cringe when i look back on them bad perm days with a tin of hairspray.
Can anyone remember the show called "Banana splits"
and the chocolate bar called cabana and the frys chocolate bar with different centres YUMMY!!!

My perm was sooooo big it looked like i had a huge head. I thought i was gods gift in a pink mohair jumper that was about 6 inches thick and left a trail of hairs everywhere i went.

I had big hair!!

Remember the black and white zoro programme on TV in the school hols, The Banana Splits and of course good old Skippy?

We played a game we called American Skipping, but some called it elastics - you knotted them altogether and got two friends (or chairs if you were on your own) and had to jump on/over the elastics, each time it went highter

Gizmo, I remember the clackers and the bouncy thingy loved them both ! Did you ever put a ball in your mums stocking and stand against the wall and swing the ball to your sides and then under your leg??

What fun with simple cheap toys !
