Hi all
Talking of shoes! My brother & his mates used to put Grolsch beer tops on their laces-what was that all about then? Also who recalls 'parkas' as in the mod revival of the 80's!

I was actually going to post this last night......but as we live in a tiny rural town......i thought it was just us country bumpkins.......so never wrote it......!!!!!...... us girls all used to do it aswell.........

What was it about....????......i have no idea.........although i do remember being a brosette about the same time....????......

Wow - never heard of this, but it reminds me of when we used to get the old tag that kept the bread bag closed and threaded them on to our bicycle spokes!! I remember that clicky noise they made when the wheels went round!

I remember Quatermass and the pit and used to love watching the twilight zone and the old hammer house of horrors films

Mandi - Bros did the grolsh tops on shoes that's where it came from - talking of pop bands, come on girls - how many of you had the Bay City Rollers pants and who was your favourite? (Mine was Eric)
