I too remember a few things.......

Twizzle..........not a lot of people remember him!
Torchie the battery boy
Pinky & perky.........I had 2 guinee pigs named after them
Definately remember having to sit with Mum watching Corrie in the 60's..........her fav, Must say, I cant see the facsination, an Enders girl myself.

Early teens........
Jackie mag
sweet peanuts
spangles
those green and white minty things........cant remember what theyre called.

Fashion
Embroidered denim jeans with matching jacket.........thought I looked great
Maxi Skirt
Black patent boots
puff sleeved blouse with fly away collars
bolero jacket
Sailor jacket with Cherry brooch.

Hair permed so tight and combed to look like an afro..........and the make up........thick as possible with penciled eyebrows!!

My parents must have sat back laughing thier heads off, come to think of it.........they were cruel to le me go out like it!!

Does anyone remember a childrens cartoon series called Shazzan.
It featured a brother and sister in arabian times ( i think) who wore opposite halves of a ring on their finger and whenever they faced danger they joined them together and shouted "Shazan" and a genie appeared who always rescued them.

Somebody please tell me that i haven't just dreamt this cos i have asked three 40 something years today and not one of them remembers. Help!
