Hubby is currently (has been since monday) driving me mad as he has male flu !!!! says he needs a new head,sniffing,spluttering etc etc filling him up with lemsip (which are made in the uk & shipped in) and now he is telling me that aussie flu is worse much worse than english flu
can that be possible i thought man flu was all the damm same where ever they are !!!! bloody men

it could be siberian man flu that he has which means he should have total rest and only move to go to the toilet and his wife should wait on him hand and foot and appear to be caring lol
My hubby has had 2 bouts of man flu and insists on have every over the counter remedy for it and it is driving me mad.
I had the same flue i took some paracetamol and that was the end of it he must of spent a mini fortune and now he claims to be ill again and is working from HOME!
I wonder why all men get the 'FLU' and women just get 'Colds', tell him it's just a cold Gizmo and if it was the flu he wouldn't be sneezing and coughing, he would be aching all over, no appetite, shivering and generally feeling like ????

Ask him if there was $20 lying at the bottom of the drive would he go and get it, if yes, he's got a cold. If he REALLY had flu, he wouldn't give a sh1t if there was $100 there!

And how come when your fella has 'flu' (man-speak for a cold) we women feel compelled to ask them how they feel/if they need anything every 5 minutes but if we get it no-one ever asks how we are????

I think you PIO ladies are being grossly unfair to us blokes. It seems obvious to any self respecting man on this site that we are completely and totally misunderstood.
Yes, there is such a thing as manflu. It really does exist. We are built differently to you, we have differing pain thresholds and it is a well known fact that men suffer much more than women. Just because we can't have babies it is wrongly assumed that we are wimpish.
