OMG! Has anyone seen this documentary!?? I love Moores stuff anyway, so not sure why its taken so long for us to get round to watching this one, but it was just SHOCKING!!!
Anyone else seen it? It really made me feel lucky to have the NHS, we really are lucky - but the french even luckier it seems!
Its also made me worry a little about health care is Australia, i know that in australia Medicare is set up by the gorvernment, whereas in US its all private, but i am a little scared about finding extra costs for things and not being able to afford it? I've done my reading on the medicare site, which enthuses about medicare obvioulsy, but i wonder what peoples actual experiences of it are?

Not had any health issues whilst here, so can't comment on that yet, but going to the dentist was a bit pricey! I miss the NHS!
I've not seen Sicko, but watched an Oprah special on it (cos I have no job ), and agree, it was shocking.
