OMG, Lynne!

You've brought a memory back there! Do you remember the dance (hands behind your back like Kevin Whatever - He - Was - Called) and then when they played the fiddle really fast at the end, everyone used to run on the spot and the dancefloor nearly used to give way!) We used to do that at the school youth club every week...that, and Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the heart. (Try dancing to that .. No, you're right, it IS impossible!!)

With the exception of Aussiewannabee (and Nic's hubby, who still doesn't know, lol) where are all the guys with their guilty confessions, please?

Well mine would have to be Wake me up before you go-go or Freedom - as in I don't want your freeeeeeeeeeedom sung really high and really loud - by Wham. Well anything by George Michael - I saw him at the NEC December 06 and still loved him! I remember being very young and dancing to the charts on a Sunday evening and sulking if bath time interrupted the top ten!

I know that the OH particularly likes China in your hand by T'pau, it's one of the few songs that he'll actually sing along to.

Well, I would just like to add one of my own personal guilty pleasures.

"Land down under" by men at work.

A very apt song for this forum, and one that I have managed to convince the little tykes is in fact the Australian national anthem!

Hey guys I'm Claire. I thought I would introduce myself on this very important thread!! Only been on this a couple of times and it's really good to know that other people are in the boat as us - I can't wait to get out of the UK. Oz please let us in!!!
