So I'm asking for the small favour of signing my e-petition. Gordon would like to take our green belt land instead of using the brownfield sites that he publicly announced. He is describing them as green, but this is a lie; it soley to get it past the public & create yet more houses for the social & migrants. The petition address is:

Petition to: To maintain green belt land in the Village of Eggborough, Kellington & Whitley Bridge.

Obviously, if this goes through our house will devalue and give us less to take to Oz! I think that you have to be resident in the UK, not sure though to sign it. It would be great if you could! Thanks Guys!

I see you've only posted 12 posts so far... I'm not really sure how your political agenda fits in with the purpose of this forum??

At last people talking sense on the Migration issue in the UK !

And this may be harsh but Its really hard to feel sorry for you when your biggest worry is how much money you can get for your property to bring to OZ !

my brother lives in a council house...he works ...often long hours...and he certainly pays his taxes...bit of a generalisation problem me thinks!! This country has always been a soft touch, probably a guilt thing..after all, we dispossessed and mis-treated many across the world. Think it is far deeper than 'who's moving in next door.'
To be honest, I would take the council tenants on my left any day over the numbties I have on my right who own their house.
This is a MIGRANTS site (mainly)...can you not see the irony???

Me again Ed

I find it very hard to feel sorry for the home owner who employs the cheaper unskilled labour and gets a sh*t job done and actually costs alot more to put right. When your in the trade you hear about it alot. Yea ok it maybe a job lost but at least we have a giggle. Look forward to your reply Ed

John Plumber Heating Engineer

Ps Ed I never charged the sort of money your talking about and I know very few who do. Unless of course you live in an area like the West end of London I think you may be exagerating.

My husband is self employed heating engineer, corgi registered the lot....... he certainly doesn't charge that amount an hour!!! Even though he's worth it. What does happen though is all the Plumbers that have done a 16 week course at college, or not as highly experienced get the 'big jobs', mess it up, and then my husband gets a call in to sort it out!!! we only charge what is required to cover materials and earn a wage!!!! If you are prepared to pay less, you are likely to get what you pay for!! Like in most things in life!!!
