People
Why do people have to fall out. Is it our fault for letting people get to us, I mean if we ignored them and didn't bite it wouldn't raise our blood pressure and people wouldn't be on a wind up because we wouldn't be getting wound up. I'm not talking about PIO but life in general, people can only get to us and hurt us if WE let them.
Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That's why it's called the present.- Unknown

I think you can work on changing your perspective on a person or situation to make it less hurtful. But you'd have to be made of teflon to not let stuff get to you in the first place.

Do you know what...sometimes I think it is good to fall out with people as some people should not be in your life and I suppose sometimes it takes a row or falling out to realise just how different you are.
I have just had a fall out with somebody I was very close to and it made me realise that regardless of who your friends are, who your family are and who your partner and kids are when push comes to shove you can only really do what is best for you.
I have recently seen the effects of somebody who did everything based up on whether or not it was good for her and her partner (with more onus put on the impact it would have on her partner) and now she is sitting at the worng side of forty, alone and regretting some of the decisions she made in her life.
That is one of the main reasons I have decided to emigrate, my nan once told me to live my life for myself and not other people and she was right. I dont want to fall out with people but at the same time I dont want certain types of people in my life and I think that you only really see somebodies true colours when their back is against the wall and you are having a disagreement about something.
Slightly off topic I know :o)
