Why are American sitcoms soooo good. What are your favourates?

I just love American sitcoms. They always have something going at the moment. A few years ago it was Friends and nowadays its the Big bang theory and How I met your mother. I also enjoy old episodes of the Fresh prince of Bel Air. Also remember watching (the name fails me) one in which two black american boys were being brought up in a white household--the round small guy was hilarious--forgot his name....

Do you love/ like them? What do you think makes them so popular and appeals to people all across the globe?

Bloody love em, i have watched loads over the years .. Seinfeld, Friends, two and a half men, Everybody loves Raymond, Scrubs, Rules of engagement and currently watching ....... The Middle.


All are brilliant and funny, my favourite ..... Two and a half men, with Charlie Sheen.

I watch Fraser and Miles occasionally in the mornings--a recent one was about caviar!!! do remember it? they were addicted to it and gulping it down onboard a foreign trawler ----at least until the police came in looking for smugglers!

John Dorian and Turk were really funny, the janitor is the dad in the Middle and his wife is Debra from Everybody loves Raymond, we like it because the characters are a bit like us.

Anyone ever watched Modern Family? Now that is brilliant , also go along with fat boy with The Middle it is very good.

Seen it several times matey, the one that sticks out is when Miles dressed up as 'Christ' at Easter and wandered around the complex where Frasier lives, had tears rolling down my face.
