Nothings changed in the last 20 years then. Apart from a couple of players who are world class the others are pretty average club players to be honest. A couple of youngsters look like they will make the grade and they are always enthusiastic. Can Roy get them playing as a team? If he can there is always hope.

I guess nobody is expecting them to do very well this time so they don't have anything to lose.

Its the black fans that are being threatened..... even walcott's family wont go cos of the threats..... was in the paper, that the extreme gangs have said 'all black english fans will come home in a coffin !!'........ In todays papers the black players (not just the english ones) were saying they would walk off the pitch if the racist chants got too bad...... and FIFA ? ..... well FIFA told em..... you walk and you'll pay !........ Appalling.... so they just have to take it do they !..... Not right.......

Do any of you England fans not feel a bit pi$$ed off that your second tournament in a row has been overshadowed again by John Terry and his actions? What kind of message are the FA sending out to all the kids who watch the game. It's ok to have an affair with a team mates ex and "allegedly" spout racist comments.

Kind of double standards for anyone associated with the England to team to moan about racism from Poles/Ukranians. Especially when Ferdinand is dropped for "footballing reasons".
