They aren't bad lads really are they. I thought it was funny when they moved to the lakeside property and the neighbour came out to ask them to keep the noise down.
Lakeside Property? In Sydney we call that lake .....Sydney Harbour.

Oops, maybe I'm blind as well as deaf
Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That's why it's called the present.- Unknown

I think we all know, it's like Underbelly, it's hard to believe things like that are going on around you.

Think theres a bit of artistic license going on, caesar campbells a cuddly bear, read a write up on the real one...not so cuddly....Snoddy looks like he wouldnt hurt a fly...think the nasty stuff is next week or week after. OH saw a real bikie at a servo, he nearly had heart failure when he caught his eye! I dont know much about modern day bikies but I think its less about the bikes and more about drugs and corruption isnt it?

Very true. I was reading an article on him last week and there was a picture of him. He looks like an old man now although I'm sure he'd still wipe the floor with me if I was to spill my pint on him.
There is a book about his life being published. At the Milperra massacre that the Bike Wars series is buliding up to he apparently ripped a mans throat out with his bare hands. The guy died there and then. The article was also saying he has been shot on several different occasions, surviving all of them.
Its quite an interesting little read although quite scary how brutal some people are...

Indeed. I feel the show tries to add a bit of gloss to the characters. I wonder how loosley based the series is compared to the true events. I think I may buy his book once its released as I think it will give me a better insight into Bikie Gangs. They seem to be organised criminal gangs nowadays although the motorcycle clubs such as the Comancheros, bandidos etc etc try to deny this and blame a few loose elements and also the media of exaggerating facts and adding sensationalism into the stories they write about them.
It's something a bit different from back home though. Where I came from it was usually some dude in a BMW and an adidas tracksuit who would get out and blow a rival drug dealer away with a shotgun. Not quite as interesting as a motorcycle gang in my opinion!
