Ah look at all the ladies being all humble and putting everyone else first this christmas. It's cool though, this is one of those girly traps. Fell into enough of them to know the signs. I say it but I don't meant it sort of thing. The words coming out your lips to your OH are, "oh, don't fuss over me darling" , whilst your minds are thinking "if there's no Chanel Handbag under that tree you're a goner"

Ha! Well, Gucci is always nice.... But.... This year we cannot afford gifts at all, and prefer to spend a little on a trip which will be something to remember. Some years no gifts are better than the ones where you have splurged....

We're not splashing out this year either. If we do it'll just be on a load of camping gear between us. Something we can use in the future. It's a good idea to get away for christmas. My holidays back home where always at new year. So you get the excitement leading up to christmas like when you're a kid. My girlfriend is working over christmas. Which is a pity because I wouldn't mind jumping in the car myself.

To be in work firstly,a very rare thing as a s/employed bricky,but touchwood its looking like i will be.
