      German Wine!So tasty.

Well we are just downing a bottle or two,me and Faceache, for the first time in 3 years since we been in Oz,and boy is it heaven. We both drank copious amounts back home, simply because we love it,and i must say,it has been my best decision this week ,just got 3 bottles on a whim, and you betcha, there'll be many more to come.

      Hi Rock.

When I did drink I must admit a bottle of German wine went down a treat. No connasuir (can't even spell it,:) But never been one for the fancy stuff, are the words 'Blue Nun' still acceptable in wine circles.

When i was in Perth, we were two nights away from coming back to blighty and the wife said, i'm running out of wine, a bottle should see me through. So i went to the drive thru and went into the shop and the cheapest bottle that i could see was about $14 and right next to it was a 5 litre box for $15 so ................ i bought the box and we got smashed on the wine, it was right tasty as well, don't know if it was german and we didn't care, lol.

I remember going on a wine cruise in Perth, and we were tasting some reislings. There was a snobby woman there who put her glass down and exclaimed, 'when you drunk the real thing, it hard to drink poor immitations.'

I kept my piece, but I did think to myself, I've been to Germany and drunk the reisling there too, and it tastes pretty much the same as the reisling here. I'm not a big fan of wine snobs. It it tastes good, I'll drink it. If it doesn't taste good I'll drink it quickly.
