Anyone really cold?
Hi everyone
this is for us poor sods who are suffering the coldest winter in history, we didn't have much of a summer either, well thats a bit of a fib for me, i had a month in sunny warm fantastic Brisbane in March and 2 weeks in Ibiza in August, both times the weather was crap back in the uk.
We are deep into winter here in the uk, several weeks into snowy arctic freezing conditions, with figures of -10, -15 and - 20 plus recorded. I am really cold and even though i have the costly central heating on blasting out heat from the radiators, i am still struggling to feel snug and warm, anyone else feel the same.
Anyone got any tips on how to get warmer, stay warmer, or are you just staying in doors all the time like us and our kids. When the snow came about five weeks ago we were really excited and the kids went out to play in the snow, but 5 weeks later the snow is frozen and everyone at work are sick to the back teeth of it, the country has been in chaos, is anyone still enjoying it.
I was hoping to be living in sunny warm Australia by now, theres a heat wave in Perth, one of the places we have been to and would be happy to live. I thought last years horrible winter would have been my last, but i still here suffering the Siberian like weather.
Anyone really cold like me and has anyone got any great tips on how to get warmer?

I went shopping and when i went out to my car the window screen was frozen outside and inside, i scraped it off and i went into the supermarket which was 5 minutes away and when i came out an hour later, the window was frozen inside again and the original scraped off ice was still there, still frozen in my car and it was 3pm. All the roads were frozen and the walkways were trecherous in the sfternoon, whats that all about?

I stevie
we have seen the pictures of what Scotland has been like people stuck in their cars for 2 to 3 days, roads closed, villages cut off and we can only imagine just how bad you have had it, it has been a disaster zone up there, we are lucky down here compared to you. I have working on the wife, to try the body heat idea, but she's not buying into it, so i will have to get warm with the girlfriend, or Geoff.
