Watching an intresting programme on sky and was surprised to learn that the average human in their lifetime will only get proper Flu just twice in their lifetime, so when someone tries to bunk off work or moans they have the flu please tell them they almost certainly only have a bad cold.

Depends on the 'type' of flu mate, there's:

Real Flu: When every bone and muscle aches in the body and you can't get out of bed.

Man Flu: A slight snuffle, but you convince all those around you that you are at deaths door.

IWADOW flu: I Want A Day Off Work Flu.

Bird Flu: You will often see gangs of Pigeons around London suffering from this. Easy diagnosis, they attack you en masse when you are just about to eat your cheese sandwiches.

Swine Flu: Have you ever seen a sneezing pig, hilarious it is.

Having said that, I have only had real flu once, bloody agony it was. So I might have one more bout to go.

And when I do, I can assure you that my household WILL know about it.
