moving to perth in january on a 12 month working visa & wondered if anybody on here knows if it is easy to find work in perth & what is the best and cheapest form of accomidation whilst i find my feet in oz???

Thought you deserved a reply. Reading your post it is hard to say if getting work is easy as you haven't put your line of work. From reading posts in general and talking to my cousins who live in Perth there appears to be plenty of work if your prepared to do it. Sometimes you might need to take a job just to tie you over till you get the job you want. As for accommodation i would suggest a YMCA especially if you are going on your own. It would be a good way to meet up with other people. I stayed in one when i went to Wellington NZ. The facilities were very clean. Look on the web for backpacking accommodation in Perth.

Hi, are you coming on a working holiday visa? Temping agencies are very good here and a number of people i know have found jobs within 48hours of signing with them (mostly admin work but im sure they have other things going!) I think it should be quite easy depending on what you want to do-there are always adds in shops/bars etc.
