Amougst us going Homers

Dear all going home

I have opend this thread Just for us lot going back to the Uk.

Just so we can talk about our concernse of going home and regrets we have.
What did not click for us in Aus? What scares you about going back, what you miss about home or what ever?
I want to keep this with just us going home and maybe it'll give people a insight to coming out hear to make an educated decision on if to make the plunge or not.
I really do not want to get into a slanging match with those who love Australia. After all I'm sure we would like both countrys to be happy & crime free.
I like a slanging match but not this time it's just for us going home to talk about what ever. But you Aussie lot can look if you want. Even do a siimlar thread telling the other side of the coin. Just so all thos back home get an even prospective.

So I'll let some one else start then. Earlswood lets hear what you have to say.
and you Yellow's.

Not going home but wish I could so can I play on here?

I am interested in hearing what sends other people back home but for me it is quite simple I dont belong, never have and that is despite having spend half my life here, worked and travelled here, raised kids here. It feels like I have been on one long holiday - some good, some not so good, and now I am fed up with it and just want to be back where I belong.

Many reasons why I cant go home to live just in case anyone tells me to pack up and go - I have an Aussie DH who would be equally unhappy in UK (or so he tells me!). I go home every year for a sanity break, usually on my own but DH is coming with me in July this year. He wont be coming with me in December when I get to go back again though.

I would be interested too to hear from UK partners in mixed Aus/UK marriages. I have a feeling that it is a bit different for us because we dont even have the support of people who have the same experiences and they have their family whereas we dont.

Your neither hear nor there. You need to start your own one up I'm sure there are loads of middle aged women out there with Ausssie kids & husband who wants to go home after 90 years
If I let you in, any old rifrap will think they can come in.
Sorry Qaul.
But good news is I've got a carracter for you already and it's not Dawn French.

DebsX is on a distinguished road
I would like to read postings from people who have left Oz for whatever reason and gone back to Blighty.

I would like to hear their honest views on how things are for them back over there and if they truly believe they have made the right decision to leave OZ.

I do mean honest views though and not a smokescreen because they secretly believe they made the wrong decison to leave and life back in the UK isn't turning out how they expected.

It would also be good to hear that things are also working out for them now they are back in the UK also.

So please stay in touch Essex to Aus when you are back in the UK. I'd love to hear how things are working out for you.

Thanks

Girls:

After reading this can you please pop over to chewing the fat. Top Thread.

Ladies Only: Can you please explain the diffrence.

I would like to think I had a valuable contribution why women in oz go up a dress size or 2. At least I would like the opptunity to contribute and not feel as if I can't because it's women only.

But this is what Political correctness does it courses arguments.

The title says "Ladies Only" purely becuase its about weight & dieting and was aimed to the ladies - which is (from my own experience not really a guy thing) but read it carefully NO WHERE in the thread does it say that you guys can not join in.

So lets get back to the original content of your thread and hear why you are going home

So you don't think men have weight issues and that we don't talk about it. OK fine do a thread to see if men care about health issues such as weight problems.

I used to do Yoga at my local Gym I loved it. Most of the time I was the only Man. but because of my job I had to do it when I had an oppotunity. Then they brought out Pink Tuesday. Not no men tuesday but Pink tuesday not onced did they mention that it was women only but do you think I was going to turn up in pink. I got sh*t from my mates as it was. What if when on my way to Yoga in my pink panther outfit I got pulled up by the police and it happend to be my mate PC Steve Nelson. I would have to emergrate to Australia with embarsment.
