I don't!!! Despite living here for over 41 years I dislike it intensely. My sons recon I turn into something from the Exorcist on hot spells during summer. I have been known to go about singing every Christmas carol and song which mentions snow to psych myself into believing the temperature in December is bearable! But don't fret, you might be like the rest of my family and accept it.
With difficulty when it gets mid 30s and higher!!! It's like living in a sauna sometimes, been very hot in Sydney this week and we seem to be plagued with moths too.....

Loving it, nothing nicer than to go to work on a lovely sunny morning and come back home to the spa, relax with a lovely bottle of chilled chardonnay about £4 a bottle over here (even for a good one) watch the lovely coloured parrots flying overhead. Its great being able to organise BBQ's days or weeks in advance and know the sun will be shining. And the bonus is all my freckles join up and i have a great tan.
Actually, if you've ever lived and worked anywhere REALLY hot (Hong Kong or Iraq for example) then places like Sydney are just not hot at all. We might get a handful of days a year when it does get a wee bit warm, but nothing so unpleasant that a beer and an open window can't fix. Can't speak for Queensland though - it's so hot up there they all go a bit mad after a while.
hiya we arrived in brisbane 9th aug and the temperature has gradually increased we all love the heat that is in a holiday setting so yes it is hot, sweaty, and humid but we just get home from work, school and jump in the pool and as long as you have air con you will be ok, everyone keeps asking us how do we think we will cope at christmas well hopefully we will be ok but we love it here and its the best decision we have ever made oh loves it and the kids, at least everyday here is perfect and you dont have to worry about the weather spoiling your plans on days off etc.
