Singer breaks down the barriers GEOFFREY Gurrumul Yunupingu's music is a far cry from the tribal dancing and didgeridoo playing of his former band Yothu Yindi. But his gentle folk songs, sung in the native languages of his Yolngu clan, have had a spellbinding effect on British music fans. BBC's Radio 2 was inundated with queries from listeners hypnotised by his voice when it played his music last week.
