HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My wife and I are planning to emmigrate to Australia but are confused. We have consulted a migration expert, the "immi.gov.au" website and Australia House. Two out of the three say I have a qualification recognised by the TRA and the other says that I have to retrain! I am City and Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 in Catering qualified and certificated. We were hoping to apply under skilled migration. Can anyone help us on the best course of action or give us any advice?...

Well, after the success of the 1st TA seminar, the OH has bokked a 1:1 at the end of the month. HE says he really wants to make ago of moving to Oz. I am sooo happy that he has finally come around to my way of thinking!

So, he has been emailing and doing on line assessments, as have I, I guess the more Yes answers we get from on line assessments and emailed enquiries, the better. He has started decorating!!! Don't know if this is just coincidence or if he is thinking that maybe...

my husband is a qualified stonemason/banker mason, specialising in restoration and carving, weve been looking on a few sites to try and find some info on jobs and pay in queensland,had no joy, were really keen on heading to burliegh heads or surrounding area, can anyone shed any light on the subject for us ?

Well here I am some 8 months after getting the visa, and sat in the UK still – this was my worst case scenario and it happened…. can’t sell the house, can’t go.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not angry, bitter, disappointed, stressed… I could go on as I seemed to go through a range of emotions but now, just feel very blaze and think it will happen when it does.

I was going to say, well I do have those times when you feel like the 60th person in 1 day has asked if you’ve sold...
