Well blog, haven’t got alot for you this week.

No news on the visa front, just watching LCU dates and haven’t seen much progress this week. Still secretly hoping (not much of a secret now!), that visa comes December but realistically its gonna be January. I just feel ‘whatever’ at the moment!

As for the house, well they say no news is good news??? Not sure how that applies here but estate agent phoned to say it was in the paper this week, and a double fronted piccie something ...

    2. Clearing out

      by , 22-11-2007 at 11:22 AM
We were originally going to get a container and take all our furniture with us. However, the cost of a container is working out more than the furniture from our tiny house is really worth. Plus as more items start to go on the blink and I look at the state of some of our furniture I realise that most of it is ready for replacing anyway. So we have decided to just take what we really need along with some keepsakes. This will be priced by cubic footage so I am now on a mission to clear out as much ...

      by , 22-11-2007 at 09:03 AM
Well, out of the blue we have recieved another offer on the house. It was less than the previous buyers but they have sold and can move any time. So we have accepted.

I'm beginning to look at getting the wheels turning again, but am being a bit more cautious about committing to anything this time just in case it all falls through again. As soon as they have signed I will book the flights and hand my notice in - not a minute before!

Our friends round the corner sold their ...

    5. Babbling Idiot

      by , 21-11-2007 at 07:02 PM
What is it about this process that turns a fairly bright chap into a complete twitchy and reactive idiot. I have been terrified that we will not achieve the 120 points essential for the Imps to emigrate (as we are not on any State-sponsored SOLs) and all this is based upon my complete inability to read.

Mrs Imp is applying through vetassess as a massage therapist and I read the criteria as 'equivalent qualification AND 3 years experience'. Mrs Imp is qualified but does not have the ...
