We're all ready to go. Just have to sign and send back the customs form for the removal company, they have to come and pack 25th Aug and then its go go go. absolutely everything is sorted, even a car and house when we land in Melbourne. Very chuffed with our organisation skills as usually everything left to the last minute.

O wait a minute

Thursday last week - phonecall - hubbys dad has fallen and broken his hip. In hosp, going to go to surgery as soon as stable. We visit after surgery. Its proably the time he was found a place to live where he is supported 24/7. Eases concerns for when we leave.


Today - 5 am telephone call - Hubby's dad has had a heart attack and didnt make it

As you can imagine, hubby is not is a good way. Feels completely lost at the moment. Im trying to remain optimistic - At least we are here to deal with things as a family rather than being out of the country...

Any significant event in hubby's life is shunned by a bigger traumatic experience.
Gets first big job - grandad dies, Getting married - mum dies, has first child - nan dies and now, moving to Oz - dad dies

Im lost for words......
