Need advice on spouse visa

I am going to Australia in June to be with my boyfriend who has just moved over to Australia to be with his family who emigrtaed approx. 2 years ago. I am going on a holiday workin visa. I need any help on how I can extend my stay and hopefulli get a spouse visa. I am 18 and have been with my partner for approx 3 years and he has lived in England with me for approx 2 years. If anyone can help me with what info i need to take I would be gratefull. Thanx

I have been through the whole process with my partner who is australian....so if you need any help or advice, just ask.
My biggest tip, is to try and put as much stuff in to joint names i.e. bills, bank accounts, possessions - that way it's easier to prove you are a genuine couple. You will need to show that you have lived together for a period of time, so letters addressed to both of you are important. Follow the content layout on the immigration website, as you may need Stat Declarations from friends, family members, employers etc. Anything you want to know just ask. |
