When my hubby mentioned "in passing" with quite a blase attitude that a friend of ours was looking into a move to Oz and did i think we should. I just said "yeah, sure, why not". It's not that i wasn't interested or on the other hand desperate to move but i thought it was one of those "man ideas". You know like DIY!! haha.
Then, bless him, he makes a CV and posts it off to a company for a look at. Next thing i know i have booked a day off work to travel to Leicester (From Liphook, nr Guildford) to find out more. Granted we talked about it, i've looked stuff up and the kids were asked what they think..( no brainer as far as they are concerned!!)
I have to say the info day answered more questions than created which is a good thing!!
So after a phone call on Friday to ask if we still wanted to go to Oz we said YES!
We are very lucky to have found an agency to hold our hands through it all - they really want my hubby as he is a Mechanic!!
Families have all been told of our grand plan and all agee we should go so there is no pressure holding us back.
And now it seems that we could be there in August.
We have agreed to sell all our stuff and start again LOL..i always liked minimalist!!!
So the journey is begining now and i can't wait!!!

hi suzy don't know if your enquiry should have come to me or mischeif i posted a comment on her blog (it is my first time doing this) and i got this message from you but addressed to mischeif. anyway we went thro 1st contact they are based in central london they were recommended from a friend who got their visa thro them and we have since recommended them to another friend who is going thro the process. i can't remember exactly how much it cost us but it is worth it they will tell you how much you could expect to pay when you contact them it took us from jan to getting visa in oct. they dont help in the move or getting jobs but i dont think any of them do, altho you will get info on everything you will need to know hope this will help you lisa xx
