Medicals

Posted 20-03-2008 at 04:19 PM by Les & Woz
Well we had the medicals done yesterday. Me, hubby, Harry (18) and Sophy (21).

This was the one part I had been dreading as I am a bit overweight for my height but it went OK. Now we just have to sit and wait (again) to see what happens. With any luck we may have a visa by July then we have a year to get our act together and sell the house and get ready to jet off for our new life.

My daughter says she isn't going to come with us she wants to stay here so that is going to cause us some heartache. However, we are just hoping that once we have gone she will follow otherwise we are always going to be wishing she was with us.

Feel really scared now it has gone this far. Talking about it is one thing, getting another step closer is another. (GULP).

Hi Les and Woz

I just read your blog....funny but it's exactly how my wife and I are feeling.

Everyday we are up.....then down.....then up......

Just thought I'd say that you're not alone in feeling this way.....we are currently checking out the Finances side....they don't look as good as staying here in the uk....so this is another downer on going....

Head is spinning....sleep just seems to pass me by....I never realised it would be so tough to make this decision

As you say...it's one thing saying it (and there are a lot of people that do) but totalling another going through with it....
