I'd forgotten I was allergic to dust. Probably because I avoid it most of the time. Have you any idea how much dust there is under the average bed, not to mention paper tissues, odd pennies (never an odd fiver is there?) and wieird things like elastic bands and halls mentholyptus sweets. I also found a hairbrush and two odd socks. Why was I furkling round the back of the bed? well still doing the big clean up of course. Our ozzie house swap mates are due to arrive tomorrow and all is now pristine. Well as pristine as its ever going to get. What with me sneezing all over the place and then there's the hoover that swallowed up an elastic band and started disgorging big blobs of dust all over the place. (Fan belt didnt like it apparently).

So there I was, just in the shower thinking all my troubles were over for the moment and the bathroom light went out. I can't believe the bulb or whatever it is in there waited until now to go off. Not my problem, husband has to do it in the morning - I'm going to work for a rest.

Please God they don't turn out to be psycho axe murderers. They don't have those in Sydney do they? Well they didnt mention motor bikes in their letters.
