Well, after the success of the 1st TA seminar, the OH has bokked a 1:1 at the end of the month. HE says he really wants to make ago of moving to Oz. I am sooo happy that he has finally come around to my way of thinking!

So, he has been emailing and doing on line assessments, as have I, I guess the more Yes answers we get from on line assessments and emailed enquiries, the better. He has started decorating!!! Don't know if this is just coincidence or if he is thinking that maybe...

I have had a complete and utter t**sful of this cr*ppy british summer!!!!. All I want is a bit of sunshine!
Anyway, that is my moan over with for now......
I have finally received my tickets for the TA seminar in Bristol on the 27th - Is anybody else going? OH seems quite ok about it, but we must not say anything to his parents (fair enough, he doesn't want to upset them until absolutely neccessary) My dad is having the kids though and he is fine, and supports us in any decision...

Hey Hey, guess what? Interview on Monday and I get the phonecall on Friday to offer me the job!! Very Pleased.
A good weekend all round. Friday (when I got the call), we were on a Tank Driving range in Hampshire (pressie for OH's 40th) Kids were having a great time riding on Cheiftain, Abbott and APC's (I enjoyed too) then we had Katie's 6th Birthday Party on Sunday, which went really well. Katie's birthday is today, so I had the afternoon off to do a bit of shopping for tea party stuff and...

After a fairly good weekend, with Katie's dance show going really well and a very warm sunday - picnic in the country park and some earthing up of potatoes, we have had some good news. I am going to be an aunty again, and as we are visiting oz in December - we will be first to see the new baby! Very happy news.
AND - I have got another job interview, in a letting agent's, as admin staff, 5 mornings a week, which means I can pick the kids up from school, and it may lead to full time work. so...

oh well, I didn't get the job, I had a feeling I didn't when I walked out of the place. I was full of cold and coughing everywhere.....Not to worry, the right one will come along when it's time. I have had an email about another job I applied for, saying that the job is now part time, would I still be interested. Well it's 3 hours more than I do now, and it's closer, so I said yes, especially if there is a chance for extra hours. So we will wait and see what comes of that.
