Oh by the way you could sigh up with labour hire companys which pay about 35 to 50 dollars an hour, and beleive me you can take your pick, its a good time now for a deisel mechanic here, massive skill shortage.

hiya hubby is a diesel mechanic working at surfers paradise ,like you he is trained in all diagnostics and the new electronic systems. He may well be able to get you a job with him but if you approach any diesel garage in Brisbane(as he did) you will most likely be offered a job at them all,,feel free to contact me via pm etc if you need any help or just a chat when you come over, the mines are great and good money but you are tied in ,thats the only thing that stopped us ,,good luck

thanx gezz peter, its good to here we are in such demand. im comming over to brisbane in may 1-14 for look around and try for interviews.. and check areas to live...the whole thing hinges on whether i go to mines or a garage.. this will dictate where i live...no point in being 30 miles from a garage from where i live ...so a lot depends on this ...so when i get there i will check this out...thanx so very much ..cheers.. john

hi calngary, thanx for the info there... its difficult over here to get guys who know the electronics side of vehicle systems so i think i have a good advantage on most of the mechanics here...i think your man will agree its hard to get good guys with quick accurate diagnostics....thanx for the possibility of a job!! wow!! ..wot does he do? where? and more to the point ...... wopts the pay like lol??? well u gotta ask hehe... i will be over with my fair lady marie in may to have a look around.... my main concern is where we will live..if its a mine job then its not an issue but if its a garage then location will be important.......ps wheres surfers paradise??.. thanx ..and hope to speak at some point soon...er havent worked out how to to a pvt yet..give me time lol ..thanx john
