Cleaning and preparing for packing

Our house now well and truly smells of jeyes fluid.. nice !.
We've spent the weekend cleaning, painting and disinfecting our garden tools. Overall its a good job but a frustratingly slow and smelly one.
We've also managed to sort out the hand tools into two tool boxes and finish off emptying out the shed and loft of items for the tip.
The next few weekends will be taken up with the vitally important jobs of meeting up with friends and other house jobs, like sorting clothes, bed linen etc and packing up chests of drawers with soft items for the removers. fortunately I will have a day to do a lot of those kind of jobs myself before the packers come so its not such a major tribulation (well hopefully not anyway !)
But at least I finally start to feel as though I have the large part of the work done. Most of the sorting and organising is finished so I can now focus on easier jobs, we're all on course for packing up and going on the 11th Nov.....
