I get the ASPC update email and the paper based 175 applications have moved forward a massive ONE DAY
aaarrrgh!! when I started this process, visas were taking 6-7 months end to end. I'm at over 7 months and not even close to getting a case officer. sooooooooo frustrating.
I would nip back to Oz, get married and apply for a spouse visa, which I know can get granted really quickly, but apparently I'd have to redo my meds and police checks as they are tied to my original application and thats just too hard.
meh!

Awww Charlie, i follow your blogs, and really feel for you!! At least this way when you and your missus finally do tie the not you know it will be 100% for the right reasons, and it will be such a happy day for you - like a big celebration that you finally got there!
One day you'll be looking back on all this and it will seem like a distant memory. |

Hey - thanks for the comment :) you're right, of course, one day soon, I'll be plonked on the couch after a long days work somewhere in Perth and this'll seem like such a storm in a teacup. I guess I mentally thought I'd have this done by now, and to see the time slip when I didnt expect it is hard. Maybe harder than the actual delay, if you know what I mean..
