Some people are scum

Well I was supposed to spend this afternoon packing - as the removal guys are coming on monday to pack the place up and ship it all to Aus...
So imagine my chagrin when i got a phone call from my sister. she was away playing hockey in london - but had a big bag of clothes as she was supposed to be going out tonight in london, and then out tomorrow with me and the parents. so - all her nice clothes, wallet, credit cards, driving license, diary (with home address in) were all in the back of someones car.
Well - they were in the car until some little wan*er decided to break into that car and 3 others in the car park and rob the bags from the visiting hockey teams cars.
So - instead of picking some stuff up from wincanton and heading back to bournemouth to pack - i had to head back to bournemouth, then up to basingstoke to drop her car keys off for her...
Oh - and now i am back in bournemouth - we can pay to change the locks on the flat - as her diary had the home address in.

hope they catch the tossers but even if they did a slapped wrist wouldnt deter them from doing it again would it?

no - and it is reassuring to know that if it had happened during the week - the police would have sent forensics over as home addressess, etc were involved.
BUT - it was the weekend - not as many people on duty - and they are far too busy!!! what is the world coming to?! |
