sunshine cost 2009

we are moving to oz sept 2009
just had medicals xrays etc and are now researching areas we like the look of caloundra on the sunshine coast but would welcome other peoples opinions on other areas
I am a 40 yr old regiestered nurse, my husband is 46 and works in insurance we have a boy of 16 and girl of 13
we re all excited bout moving to oz but would love to hear from anyone especially who have kids of a similar age

Australia is not what i had hoped it to be...Been here nearly 2yrs on a 457 visa!!! I had the boss from Hell!! The stress from her made me ill, I ended up in Hospital haveing my Gallbladder taken away, I was told that Health insurence dosent kick in till you have paid 3months premiums, this was the first 4months of being in sydney!!!! that little number cost me $10.000 including the $3.000 ambulance fees, 4 ambulancess in total!!! Whats the best option to guarantee Permanent Residency?

My partner and I are British Citizens, with jointly owned assets (2 properties in South Africa), looking to sell asap with the hope of immigrating to Perth, Australia, and need advice on the best course of action to guarantee our permanent residency (PR) there.

We should have around £87k if we sell, and hope to invest in AU, with the hope of buying property in Perth, and/or funding a business venture. Our dream for the future would be to start a business of our own, for example, B&B,...
