We have 2 boys and our youngest (who is 18 months) has cystic fibrosis. We are currently applying to Emigrate to Brisbane as we think the climate will give our little boy a better quality of life. We are applying under my husbands work skills and also have a relative who's lived in Canberra for over 20 years as a sponsor so we have enough points to hopefully get us all out there. We are trying to find out as much information about Medicare and healthcare cards etc as no-one seems to know...

I am going to Australia in June to be with my boyfriend who has just moved over to Australia to be with his family who emigrtaed approx. 2 years ago. I am going on a holiday workin visa. I need any help on how I can extend my stay and hopefulli get a spouse visa. I am 18 and have been with my partner for approx 3 years and he has lived in England with me for approx 2 years. I'm sodding well fed up of this waiting and the lack of any progress for paper based applications. The processing date's not moved more than a gnats chuff in 3 months and I have no confidence in even getting a case officer in the next 3 months, let alone getting a visa.
