jessicagrunner
I plan to go to Australia for at least 3 months in 2017 once I qualify as a Dental Nurse. I'd love some friends to hang with while I'm out there and want to know if anybody on here has any similar plans! I also wanna know what I can do out there to make friends? I love having friends and I'd love the company when I'm there! Also, would I be able to take up training as a Dental Hygienist over in Australia? obviously if so, I would stay out there longer! Anybody talk to me, I'm open to talk to everyone about experiences, future plans and this field of work! I'd love to hear from you guys! I'm also 19 years old and from Cheshire! PomCop
In terms of training in Australia on a 417 Working Holiday Visa, no... The visa wouldn't allow you to do that You would need to apply for a student visa and then take up study. Hope that helps.

misskayleigh
The WHV allows you to study for up to 4 months in aus, I'm not sure what the limitations are on 'study'(I'm sure someone could tell you) but it's one of the conditions on the visa. You definately only get 4 months though.
