Goldilocks Sutcliffe Posted May 18, 2014 Share Posted May 18, 2014 I've decided that I'm ready to go back to the UK, cutting the trip a little short. Is there anything I need to consider in my preparations to go home? One thing I am unsure of is whether I need to apply for a tax and super rebate before I leave or afterwards? No, I never did my regional work so it's a one way trip back to the mother country for me. Has anyone had much luck with STA travel's multipass for getting flights changed pretty quickly? Lynsey Nicolson Posted May 18, 2014 Share Posted May 18, 2014 If you are departing Oz for good on your WHV then you can apply early for your tax return, you just have to submit an early declaration. I did mine through an agent the day I left Perth and I got it back 4 weeks later. Super you can't apply for until you leave Oz and are home. Pretty straight forward and I did it all online.
