Hi to everyone,
I've just registered with PomsInOz today so I'm getting to grips with it slowly.
Would love to make new friends with any Brits in the same boat as me.
I moved to Aus three years ago. I was backpacking around Aus when I met my husband and so yep...3 years later I'm still in Aus.

I still feel homesick though and don't know why?!

Homesickness probably hits everyone at some point and not necessarily at the begining. What about a visit back tot he UK to catch up with people - or anyone coming to visit soon?

Was just wanting to know were to begin really? We havent decided on were in australia we want to go we are really looking somewhere with good schools for our daughter and were we can get work easily you have any suggestions ?

Hi,
Just remember that anywhere in the top half of OZ is the tropics. Two seasons only- the dry and the wet.
