Just arrived in Melbourne!

Hey there,

Just wanted to let you know that OH and I managed to find a unit in Camberwell (apparently a very well-to-do area) for $320 a week (2 bed, 1 bath, wood floors throughout yada yada yada). Just spent a whopping 4 grand on washing machine, tv, fridge, hoover and combi microwave oven thingy and having our shipment delivered on Friday.

Best bit of this week though has definitely been getting the heating on. Spent 4 days in a freezing cold house with the console reading at 11 deg celsius and only a hot water bottle to keep my bits warm!!

Glad to hear it's still there, it was my regular weekend lunch.
I love chinese food, I couldn't tell you what my favourite dish was they were delicious.
Crispy shredded beef or the chicken dishes probably.

It's a good job I usually spent the morning in the gym before going there as I'd have ended up as big as a house. Eyes bigger than my stomach!
