So I've done a bit of research and I'm pretty sure we could get an employer to sponsor my husband on a 457. I am also quite confident that we could get in on a 136.

We've no family or ties over there and although favouring the East could go anywhere.

What would be the best option do you think? Does one cost much more than the other? What are the timelines? How great are the risks with a 457?

We aren't in a massive hurry, have a house to sell etc, but are looking to go by Autumn 2009 at the latest.

Please help, my head is in a whirl - we have 3 children 14, 10 and 2.
