Hi all,

I have noticed all the info about joining the ADF and it may all be useful to my family if we decide to sign up. We have recieved our application form but have absolutly no info! The my husbands unit have refused to give us any info at this time due to current commitments, and although we have been on the ADF web site and others, it is so difficult to find out about Pensions, Transfering pensions, Pay scales, Housing ( and the quality of it), cost of medicals and moving, much much more, untill we return our application form. Obviously with 3 children all this info is very important before even signing the application form. Does the British/ Aussie army have general info packs? Is our unit within their right to refuse us info? Is there any way not to involve the unit untill the last minute? Any ifo in helping us make this decision would be fantastic, we would love to go as my husband is sick of another Afghanistan deployment. 2nd in 18 months!
