Hairdressing Reference Letter Etc

The reference letter should be on letter headed paper signed by your employer and must include the classification in which you are employed, e.g senior stylist, details of the exact period of employment and a full detailed description of the content of your work along with all tools, equipment that you use.

As for your skills duties, mine had to be sent on a certified copy of a statutory declaration stating what I do for a job, how long I have been working in that capacity for and all of the services I provide for which type of clientel including all tools and equipment and products used.

I think that they are looking to see that if you are a hairdresser, you know your stuff and will not just say that you wash and cut hair with a pair of scissors!!

As for the time of experience as a hairdresser, I think the minimum is 900 hours training in a regulated apprenticeship and 4 years experience or 900 hours training and 5 years experience, but not sure as I received my TRA last August.

If I can be of any more help, let me know. I don't have copies of the documents sent now sorry as our agent has all of the paperwork.

Good Luck
