The dates that are listed on the auto reply appear to be about 2 weeks behind; I think that this is a safety-net for DIMIA so that they are not inundated with phone calls etc.
I'm quite surprised about the application waiting on the CO desk and this not being processed, I think I’d be taking this further but then again id be worrying that they would put the application to the bottom of the pile for processing.
From meds being requested to visa being granted was less that 7 days, we booked the meds 2 weeks prior so this helped, but all in all it was pretty fast.
The 136 skilled independent non-modl visa which I applied for, was being fast tracked due to the cut off date for the end of June.
About a week before we got the CO allocated I called Adelaide and was told that my application was going to be processed in about 4 months time!!
I decided to go with the auto-reply as a guide.
I know that this is easier said than done, but try to not think about it, as I found that it consumed my life.
It will come round eventually……….
