Hi PJ,

You might be able help me - Id really appreciate it if you could as I have been tearing my hair out trying to find an answer!

I went to Oz in straight after I got my degree and fell in love with the place. I really wanted to stay and tried to get sponsored but it was impossible.I am now back home in Ireland working successfully as a Recruitment Consultant for the last few months. I am already saving to go back as it will be for good next time. I am going to hopefully get sponsored as a Recruitment Consultant but I dont know when I should start applying for jobs. I know that there are recruitment companies that help overseas candidates but from the research Ive done their are mixed opinions on how much experience you need to get sponsored. Some agencies say they will sponsor after 6 months, others after 12 mts, others 2 years. Do you know which is possible? Im hoping that I wont have to wait 2 whole years to go back to that beautiful country!

Also do you think past work exp would be taken into consideration for sponsorship - I have worked in business development at college with a small construction company of a family friend, but I dont think I could put on my CV with regards to reference checks etc as I was not paying tax, more so helping them out. I hope to hear back from you soon.
