Will you be working in Melbourne Buzz or are you looking for country areas. There are some lovely towns to live in in the country. Alexandra, Mansfield especially if you like skiing. Wangaratta, Albury Wodonga, Yarrawonga, Rushworth, Bendigo all nice places.

Much quieter than the city but nice life.
