Just thought it would be an interesting thread to see what people left behind in the UK and what they now have in Oz... here goes...
Job:
UK: finished artist/graphic designer for a small print shop
OZ: senior graphic designer for a brand/graphic design company
House:
UK: 3 bed/1 bath/no garage Beazer "matchbox" semi-detached house on estate full of the same style houses
OZ: 4 bed/2 bath/double garage/playroom/study/pool low-set house on large block in a very green (ie plenty of landscaping/trees) suburb
Location:
UK: Somerset (approx 1hr 45 mins from nearest surf beaches of North Devon)
OZ: Gold Coast (approx 10 mins from nearest surf beaches)
Car:
UK: 10 year old Ford Escort 1.6XL
OZ: 5 year old Holden Commodore V6 Wagon
