Hi, I hope someone on here can help you but I myself am not totally sure as some things changed last year.

The sponsor has to look after you, they will be responsible for any medical that you may have to receive they also I believe have to pay your flight back if things do not work out. Dont forget with a sponsor you do not get PR, therefore you will have to achieve this when you are in Australia this may not be that easy.

I would call an agent and see what they suggest your options are.
