Personally, I like to read the negatives as much (if not more) than the positives about Australia, it's good to keep it real and to hear that things aren't always a bed of roses!

What I find annoying, is that it seems when people write anything positive about Australia and they are yet to emigrate (still living in England), they get treated as if they have no right to make a comment, there seems to be a small group of people who are ready to come down on you for daring to look at Australia in a positive way, and try to make you feel like a stupid dumb idiot for believing it to be better than England.

I think people should remember that where you live in Australia is going to have a dramatic effect on your opinion of the country and personalities, back-grounds, family and friends all play such a significant part in forming your opinion about the country. I suppose I'm just trying to say that EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT AND FREE TO EXPRESS HOW THEY FEEL (in a polite and respectful way).
